Since we are a small business we cannot offer free return labels. Inside our Returns and Exchange portal, you can have the option to buy a return label from us directly which will be deducted from your initial refund. Exchanges do not have the option to purchase a return label directly through us, you will need to purchase your own label at the postal service of your choice. But we do pay to reship your exchange back out to you if your address is within the USA. We only pay once, after that an invoice will be submitted to the customer if they keep exchanging from the same order more than once.

Personalized items cannot be canceled or changed if production process has begun.

Our store is connected to the popular Shop app. Keep in mind, the Shop app does not support most variant selections. That means most likely you will not be able to choose lengths of chains and type engraving requests. If this happens, you will receive the most common options and sizes with blank engravings. We suggest using our main website to deal with variant options if that matters to you.
Most of our steel jewelry designs have a Limited Lifetime Guarantee. We’re pretty stringent with our quality control, but occasionally something might slip through the cracks. If your product is faulty, or we sent you an incorrect order by mistake, send it back to us for a replacement or a full refund. Our warranty also covers any accidental breakage that may occur. We take pride in our handcrafted items and triple check the quality and strength before it leaves our doors. But, we are aware that mistakes and accidents happen - babies pull on necklaces, bracelets get caught on things, and so on. Most jewelry contains delicate components. Please contact us to start your warranty claim - once we respond to your initial claim message, you then will be able to attach a photo inside your email.
Warranty does not cover:
- Lost or stolen items
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, etc)
- Clearance/Final stock
In order for your warranty claim to be accepted, we will ask for photo proof of any damage. Normal wear and tear is not considered faulty (scratches, scuffs, etc) and will not be accepted in a warranty claim.
If you experience any damages within 100 days from delivery date, we will pay for shipping to repair the item. After 100 days, this will be considered accidental breakage on the customers end (because of wear and tear) so the customer is responsible for all shipping charges - the item will still be repaired for free. Shipping charges are paid to the shipping companies, we make no money on shipping costs. International claims are all subject to shipping fees no matter the time frame.
Warranty claims are limited to 2 claims in a products lifetime. We cannot be held responsible for continuous negligence towards jewelry care.
If you are experiencing any rare breakage towards your purchase please contact us to let us know. Please have a photo ready of your item so your warranty claim can go through. We will be happy to help you.
316L stainless steel is the easiest jewelry to maintain. Simply clean your piece with soap and water. Stainless steel will not tarnish or corrode so you can store your jewelry anywhere, hot or cold.
For plated steel, please be careful not to scratch the plating off your steel piece. Most plated jewelry is waterproof but be mindful of salt water and chlorine.
Precious stones, please keep dry.
We pride ourselves for using sustainable materials in our jewelry designs and packaging.
We use recycled stainless steel in our products. Each Modern Out piece may contain remnants of machines, skyscrapers or vehicle parts. Pretty cool, huh?
We use eco friendly packaging that can also be recycled.
