MATERIALS
Crafted from recycled premium steel, our jewelry is designed to be waterproof, tarnish-resistant, and hypoallergenic—no green skin, ever. All pieces are nickel- and lead-free for maximum comfort and safety.
Our gold and black plated styles feature an added protective coating, making them suitable for water-related activities like swimming or working out. However, to preserve the finish, avoid excessive exposure to salt water or high-chlorine environments, as these can gradually wear down the plating.
Jewelry not made from premium steel should be kept completely dry to maintain its quality and longevity.
ABOUT ENGRAVING
Our engraving is created using an annealing process that permanently laser etches the design approximately 0.5mm into the steel, leaving a subtle indentation rather than simply marking the surface. The black appearance is created by the intense heat of the laser interacting with the steel during the slow engraving, leaving a dark, soot-like burn within the engraved area.
Everyday wear, friction, skin chemistry, sweat, lotions, soaps, chlorine, water exposure, and contact with clothing or other surfaces can gradually alter the darkness of the burn. While this black coloration can naturally lighten or fade over time, the engraving itself is permanent. Even if the black burn coloration fades completely, the actual engraving remains physically etched into the steel and is still visible and readable.
Because every person wears and cares for their jewelry differently, the rate of this natural aging can vary significantly. Some may notice the black coloration gradually lighten over time, while others may experience little to no fading at all. Changes or fading of the black coloration are considered normal wear and do not mean the engraving itself is fading or disappearing.

The pendant turned out exactly the way we wanted! Engraving was nice, the necklace length was perfect, and everything was satisfactory. The only thing I didn't like was that the edges were a little bit sharp.
I love my necklace! I got they/them on the front for my pronouns, then added on either side "not a boy" / "not a girl". I did have to order a separate, longer chain but that's on me for guessing what length I'd need to have it work with my usual shirts, and the replacement chain got here super quick. I wear my necklace almost every day and it gives me super good genderfeels when I do!

I purchased the same necklace 2 years ago for my husband and he recently lost it. He insisted we buy another immediately because he loved it.
